Building that workplace starts with listening to you. Our employee survey is an opportunity to tell us what is working, where we need to improve, and what would make your experience as a City employee better. We want your honest feedback, including the things that may be difficult to hear.

Your feedback in action:

• Renovated or upgraded over 40 work locations, both in and outside City Hall.
• Reducing the Tier 2 pension vesting period from 10 years to 5 years.
• Offering flexible telework options.
• Providing wellness program memberships like the CALM app.
• Expanding internship opportunities.
• Providing more employee engagement activities, like the Employee Appreciation Week and events.
• Bringing back Take Your Kid to Work Day.

These changes reflect why your participation matters. Your feedback helps us identify priorities and make decisions that better support our employees. While we cannot address every concern immediately, we are committed to listening and using what we learn to guide improvements.

Our goal is participation from at least 50% of City employees. Hearing from employees across departments, roles, and shifts will help us better understand your experiences and needs. We will share the survey results with you. We are committed to using this information to improve our workplace.

Online and paper surveys have the same confidentiality protections. The survey contractor removes identifying information before providing data to the City.
